Exam Pattern 

The Telangana State Public Service Commission conducts the Group-2 Services Examination to recruit candidates for various posts in the Telangana State Government. The examination evaluates candidates’ knowledge of general studies, socio-economic issues and the historical and political development of Telangana and India. 

The TSPSC Group-2 Selection Process (2025) primarily consists of a Written Examination conducted in offline mode. Candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in this examination.

Written Examination (Offline) 

The written examination is objective in nature and consists of four papers. Each paper tests different aspects of a candidate’s knowledge and analytical abilities relevant to public administration and governance. 

Key Features of the Written Examination 

• The examination includes four papers: Paper I, II, III, and IV. 

• Each paper carries 150 marks. • For every correct answer, 1 mark is awarded. 

• For every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks are deducted as negative marking. 

• The duration of each paper is 2 hours and 30 minutes. 

• The question paper is objective type (multiple choice questions). 

• The examination is conducted in three languages: English, Telugu, and Urdu. 

• The total marks for the written examination are 600.
